1. Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel
for the respondent no.2 jointly submit that the matter has been
settled between the parties before the Mediator at the A.D.R.
Centre in Case No.342/2018 on 29.9.2018. The A.D.R. report is
submitted and the same is taken on record.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance
on a decision of Supreme Court in case of Gian Singh V/s. State
of Punjab Anr. [(2012) 10 SCC 303].
2. The respondent no.2 present in person states that she
does not want to pursue the FIR in pursuance of the settlement
arrived at before the Mediator on 29.9.2018.

4. In view of the aforementioned compromise arrived at
between the parties, applying the ratio in decision of Gian Singh
Vs. State of Punjab Anr. (supra), this Court deems it just
and proper to invoke inherent powers under Section 482 Cr.P.C.
5. Accordingly, the present misc. petition is allowed and
the impugned FIR No.52/2017 registered at Police Station Mahila
Thana, Bhilwara for the offence under Sections 498A and 406 of
IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 qua the
petitioner is quashed.
