Cooking Coal Mines (Nationalisation) Act,1972

27. Undisturbed or unclaimed amounts to be deposited to the general revenue account.

Any money paid to the Commissioner 1[which remains undisbursed or unclaimed for a period of three years from the day on which the last order for disbursement was made] shall be transferred by the Commissioner to the general revenue account of the Central Government; but a claim to any money so transferred may be preferred to the Central Government by the person entitled to such payment and shall be dealt with as if such transfer had not been made, the order, if any, for payment of the claim being treated as an order for the refund of revenue.

1. Substituted and deemed lo have been substituted w.r.e.f. 29-3-1976 for the words which remains undisbursed or unclaimed after such payment for a period of three years” by the Coal Mines Nationalisation Laws (Amendment) Act (22 of 1978), S. 9.
