8. Procedure to be followed by the Commission –
The commission shall, subject to any rules that may be made in this behalf, have power to regulate its own procedure (including the fixing of places and times of its sittings and deciding whether to sit in public or in private) 1
Comments
The Commission of Enquiry has full power and jurisdiction to fix its own place of siting (s). if the affected persons (or petitioners) approach or make a request to the Commission in that behalf, the Commission can also consider to hold it sitting at some other place if it is satisfied that it would be safer and convenient to do so at such a place, Sardar Malkett Singh V.
