Section 1 – The Extradition Act,1962

The Extradition Act,1962

1. Short title extent and commencement.

(1) This Act may be called the Extradition Act,1962.

(2) It extends to the whole of India

(3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.

1. 5th January,1963, vide Notification No.G.S.R.55 ,dated 5-1-1953,Gazette of India, Extraordinary ,pt.II,sec.3(I).p.7.
