The Reformatory Schools Act,1897

Section 29. Arrest if escaped youthful offender

A Police-officer may, without orders form a Magistrate and without a warrant, arrest any youthful offender sent to a Reformatory School under this Act, who has escaped form such school or form his employer, and take him back to such school or to his employer.
