Section 38. Chairman and Deputy Chairman
As from the appointed day and until the first meeting of the Legislative Council of the new State of Bombay, Mysore or Punjab, as the case may be, the persons who immediately before the appointed day are the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council of the corresponding State shall be the Chairman and Deputy Chairman, respectively, of that Council.
