28. Substitution of legal representative
(1) In the case of death of any party during the pendency of the proceedings before the Bench, the legal representatives of the deceased party may apply within thirty days of the date of such death for being brought on record as necessary parties.
(2) Where no application is received within the period specified in sub-regulation (1), the proceedings against the deceased party shall abate:
Provided that, on good and sufficient reasons, the Bench on an application, may set aside the order of abatement and substitute the legal representatives.
