10c Orange, Imperforate Pair (562b). Block of four, huge margins incl. guideline at top and sheet margin at left, without gum as are all known examples of this rarity, intense shade
According to United States Stamps 1922-26 by Gary Griffith, noted dealer Philip Ward purchased a pane in 1925 in Oklahoma. Part of the pane was marked for destruction by blue crayon, but apparently made it into circulation. A second pane is also known, which was similarly marked for destruction. Examples without the blue crayon are rarer and more desirable.
