$1 Dornier DO-X Flight inverted surcharge is one of the best known Canadian rarities. Approximately 8000 stamps (50 of which display the inverted surcharge) were printed. As per records as of today around 20 and 40 surviving specimens of this rare inverted surcharge error, on March 2014, one of these sold for $30,000 at Kelleher Auctions.
