1850, Imperforate Baden 3-kreuzer rose stamp fine variety of this famous rarity with full wide margins, very nice fresh colors, and “CARLSRUHE 7 AUG.” cancel, was offered by Heinrich Koehler as part of a renowned Erivan Collection. The lot was sold for $18,237. Another expensive copy of this vintage stamp on a piece of letter (shown here) with very nice fresh colors and enormous wide margins on all sides, featuring double circle stamp “STOCKACH 24th DEC.” was sold for $164,134 at Heinrich Koehler auction in April 2021.
