This Azad Hind stamp Consisting of Michel IA-VIA, IB-VIIB (including all three varieties of the 1r+2r), VIIIA-XA, and a top sheet-margin block of four of VIIb (Brunel befund), Mint N.H., Very Fine, worth €2,428

Azad Hind stamps were a set of stamps designed for the Provisional Government of Free India under Subhas Chandra Bose, but were never issued. The stamps were printed in Germany during World War II at the Reichsdruckerei, the Government Printing Bureau in Berlin, by the firm of Aster-Heudtlass. They were printed in sheets of 100 using photogravure and remained in the printing works until the end of the war.
