      I have birth place in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. I have studied and practising as doctor in Ahmedabad. My wife is living in Ahmedabad. Her parents are living inAhmedabad. She has filed a case of maintaince from Mehsana, Ahmedabad. Is this possible.

      If she is not earning & you are not maintaining her , she has right for filing petition for maintenance, you have to defend the same.
