Ginger Dos (Alyachi Dos)


Tender Ginger- 1 Kg.
Sugar 1 Kg.
Lime juice – 1 tsp.


Clean ginger and scrape off the skin.
Soak in water for a day.

Prick ginger with a fork all over and soak it in fresh water.
Continue this for a week.

Now, boil the ginger well and strain all the watrer.
Make the sugar syrup, heat and add ginger.

Heat till the sugar syrup strings.
Add lime juice and remove from the fire.

Cool, bottle and store.
