This is No salt, no oil pure vegetable diet
No Tea or Coffee,coke or any bottled synthetic drinks.
Raw is better,still half cooked or half boiled ok
The following diet should serve as a guideline.
Bitter gourd (karela) is highly beneficial in the treatment of diabetes. It contains an insulin-like principle, known as plant-insulin which has been found effective in lowering the blood and urine sugar levels. It should, therefore, be included liberally in the diet of the diabetic. For better results, the diabetic should take the juice of about 4 or 5 fruits every morning on an empty stomach. The seeds of bitter gourd can be added to food in a powdered form. Diabetics can also use bitter gourd in the form of decoction by boiling the pieces in water or in the form of dry powder.
Upon arising : Take raw curry leaves in some quantity(at least 10), everyday morning on the empty stomach.
After 30 minute or so at least 2 glass of lukewarm water later as a breakfast with freshly squeezed lemon juice/orange or any citric juice with 2 wheat bread which is called poli in Bombay or dialbetic bread.
its better if juice is replaced randomly with wheat grass guice.
if you want coffee / tea like beverage then you can have corriander seeds coffee with low fat milk.
Breakfast : Any fresh fruit with the exception of bananas, soaked prunes, a small quantity of whole meal bread with fresh milk.
Raagi [Finger millet ] Roti or mudde is very good; Even you can grind it and drink as beverage. or you can make custard too.
you can have carot juice or whole carot anytime if you like.
If you feel like eating or hungry, eat carot / cabbage / beetroot / tomatos RAW or any other vegetable can be eaten RAW.
Lunch : Steamed or lightly cooked green vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, spinach, turnip, asparagus and mushrooms, smashed potatos or boiled,two or three whole wheat chapatis(without oil and salt) according to appetite sometimes Brown rice is ok and a glass of butter-milk or curd,along with Big onion
Mid-afternoon : A glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice.
Dinner : A large bowl of salad made up of all the raw vegetables in season with lots of onion. The salad may be followed by A glass of fresh milk.Add vinegar as much as you wanted.
Bedtime Snack : 5 pods of garlic and 2 big glass of warm water

if you feel tasteless you can always chew cinamon, it will reduce LDL (Bad cholestral) and have some cinamon after garlic at bedtime to avoid garlic smell. Or table spoon of cinnamon powder with little honey early morning and 2 table spoon cinnamon before going to bed is very good.
Amla or awla: If your blood cholesterol troubles you then take amla. The vitamin C in amla helps in dilating the blood vessels and thereby lowering the blood pressure.
Grind dried amla into a fine powder and mix it with sugar candy (mishri). Store this mixture in a glass bottle and take one teaspoon of this mixture every day empty stomach. This will help maintain the cholesterol level.
Amla has anti diabetic quality. Make a mixture of equal quantity of amla, jamun and bitter gourd powder. Take one teaspoonful of this mixture once or twice a day.
To reduce Cholesterol
Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, if given to a cholesterol patient, it reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 Percent within 2 hours. unless you reduce cholsterol its impossible to cure diabetic.
Tender coconut is very good, use it anytime.
Explanation of Above meal course
Flesh foods find no place in this regimen, for they increase the toxaemic condition underlying the diabetic state and reduce the sugar tolerance. On the other hand, a non-stimulating vegetarian diet, especially one made up of raw foods, promotes and increases sugar tolerance. Celery, cucumbers, string beans, onion and garlic are especially beneficial. String bean pod tea is an excellent natural substitute for insulin and highly beneficial in diabetes. The skin of the pods of green beans are extremely rich in silica and certain hormone substances which are closely related to insulin. One cup of string bean tea is equal to one unit of insulin. Cucumbers contain a hormone needed by the cells of the pancreas for producing insulin. Onion and garlic have proved beneficial in reducing blood sugar in diabetes.

Another effective home remedy is jambul fruit known as jamun in the vernacular. It is regarded in traditional medicine as a specific against diabetes because of its effect on the pancreas. The fruits as such, the seeds and fruit juice are all useful in the treatment of this disease. The seeds contain a glucoside ‘jamboline’ which is believed to have power to check the pathological conversion of starch into sugar in cases of increased production of glucose. They should be dried and powdered. This powder should be taken mixed in milk , curd or water.
The patient should avoid tea, coffee and cocoa because of their adverse influence on the digestive tract. Other foods which should be avoided are white bread, white flour products, sugar tinned fruits, sweets, chocolates, pastries, pies, puddings, refined cereals and alcoholic drinks. The most important nutrient in the treatment of diabetes is manganese which is vital in the production of natural insulin. It is found in citrus fruits, in the outer covering of nuts, grains and in the green leaves of edible plants. Other nutrients of special value are zinc, B complex vitamins and poly-unsaturated fatty acids.
Exercise is also an important factor in the treatment of diabetes. Light games, jogging and swimming are recommended.

Jambul seeds and bark also can be treated for diabetes.
Aloe vera gell mix with water and drink early morning
Tamula patta(tejpatta) tea also very good.
Chapattis mixed with flax seed, soya or gram flour is better than just wheat chapatis.
