Section 220 – THE COMPANIES (COURT) RULES, 1959

220. Voting by proxies

A creditor or contributory may vote either in person or by proxy. Where a person is authorized in the manner provided by section 187 to represent a Corporation at any meeting of creditors or contributories, such person shall produce to the Official Liquidator or other Chairman of the meeting a copy of the resolution so authorizing him. Such copy must be certified to be a true copy by a director, 3[***] the manager, the secretary or other officer of the company duly authorized in that behalf who shall certify that he is so authorized.
