Section 270 – THE COMPANIES (COURT) RULES, 1959

270. No claim to be compromised or abandoned without sanction of Court

In a winding-up by or subject to the supervision of the Court no claim by the company against any person shall be compromised or abandoned by the Liquidator without the sanction of the Court upon notice to such persons as the Court may direct.
