Section 30 – THE WORKING JOURNALISTS (CONDITIONS OF SERVICE) AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS RULES,1957

30.Quarantine leave.

Quarantine leave on full wages shall be granted by the news paper establishment on the certificate of the authorized medical practitioner designated as such under rule 24 or where, there is no such authorized medical practitioner by a district public health officer or other Municipal Health Officer of similar status, for a period not exceeding twenty-one days, or, in exceptional circumstances, thirty days. Any leave necessary for quarantine purposes in excess of that period shall be adjusted against any other leave that may be due to the working journalist.
